Overview
What is ETTK for Web Services?
This technology has graduated.
Most of the content of this toolkit has been incorporated into IBM products: Websphere Application Server 6.1 Feature pack for Web Services contains the following ETTK-WS components: Web services, demos, samples, RAMP, WSDM support for J2EE (JSR77), WSRF sample, and WS-Notification implementation. The Apache Muse project contains the following ETTK-WS components: WSDM, WSRF, WS-Notification, and capability aggregation similar in function to WSDL aggregation tool. An Eclipse project contains the following ETTK-WS components: WSDM support and tools. The IBM Build to Manage Toolkit for Web Services assists with implementation of Web services for system management using the Web Services Distributed Management (WSDM) standard.About the technology author(s)
IBM Software Group and Research Labs
The ETTK for Web Services and its sample application packages is a collaborative effort among multiple IBM labs. Several IBM researchers and advanced technology developers are working on projects related to Web services. The ETTK-WS showcases how some of these technologies can work together to solve real-world customer problems.
The base code for ETTK for Web Services is developed by a small core team; however, several people at various IBM labs have contributed technologies for ETTK for Web Services. The following software and research labs have contributed technologies for Web services:
